PRIVACY STATEMENT
Last updated: June 11, 2026

We take your privacy seriously. This privacy statement explains how deviceuniversalapp.com (collectively, "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and processes your information in connection with our app and the VPN/proxy service it provides ("the Service").

Summary of Our Data Practices

The Service routes your device's network traffic through our servers in order to provide a secure connection. In plain terms:

– We collect your account information (via Sign in with Apple), your IP address, traffic usage statistics, and connection logs, as described below.
– We do not monitor, inspect, or store the content of your traffic, and we do not log the websites you visit or your browsing activity.
– We do not sell your personal data.
– We do not use your data for advertising or to build advertising profiles.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

Personal data is information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify you. Personal data does not include data that has been irreversibly anonymized or aggregated so that it can no longer enable us, whether in combination with other information or otherwise, to identify you.

What Personal Data We Collect

ⅰ. Account data:

The app supports Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, we receive and store your user name, the account identifier provided by Apple, and an email address. The email address is stored in our database and serves as your account identifier for authenticating your access to the Service and its server resources; it may also be used to respond to your support requests. You are in full control of the email we receive: you may share your real email address, or use Apple's "Hide My Email" option, in which case we receive and store only an anonymous private relay address generated by Apple — the Service works identically either way. We do not use your email address for marketing without your prior express consent, and we do not collect any information beyond what is described in this Privacy Statement.

If you purchase a subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. We receive only your subscription status and an anonymized transaction identifier; we never receive or store your credit or debit card details.

ⅱ. Service and connection data:

To operate, secure, and maintain the Service, we collect:

IP address: the IP address your device connects from, used for authentication, abuse prevention, and approximate region detection for server assignment.
Traffic statistics: the total amount of bandwidth consumed per session and per billing period, used to enforce fair-use limits, display your usage in the app, and plan server capacity.
Connection logs: session metadata consisting of connection and disconnection timestamps, the server location you connected to, the protocol used, and the bandwidth consumed in that session. Connection logs do not include the content of your traffic or the websites and services you accessed.
Basic technical data: app version, operating system version, and device language, transmitted automatically when the app communicates with our servers, used solely for compatibility and troubleshooting. We do not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not monitor, collect, or store: the content of your network traffic; your browsing history or the destinations (websites, apps, or services) you access through the Service; or your DNS queries.

How We Use Your Personal Data

ⅰ. Providing and maintaining the Service: authenticating your account via Sign in with Apple, maintaining your subscription entitlement, assigning you to servers, displaying your usage, and enforcing fair-use limits. Such processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you.

ⅱ. Safety and security: we use IP addresses, traffic statistics, and connection logs to prevent fraud and abuse of the Service (such as account sharing, attacks on our infrastructure, or violations of our terms) and to investigate suspicious activity. Such processing is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure for all users.

ⅲ. Communicating with you: responding to your support requests and informing you about material changes to our policies and terms. We will only send you marketing communications with your prior express consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.

We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising, advertising profiling, or tracking across other companies' apps and websites, and we do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences. The app itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. We do not share the content of your traffic or your browsing activity with anyone, because we do not collect it. The data described above is processed only by service providers acting on our behalf as data processors:

DigitalOcean, LLC (headquartered in the United States): hosting of our servers, databases, and connection logs. Our servers are located in DigitalOcean data centers corresponding to the server regions selectable in the app.
Apple Inc.: Sign in with Apple authentication and In-App Purchase processing.

We do not use any other third-party services, SDKs, or analytics providers.

These providers process data only on our documented instructions, may not use it for their own purposes, and are contractually required to implement a level of data protection equal to or higher than ours.

Legal Disclosures

We may disclose the personal data we hold (account data, IP addresses, traffic statistics, and connection logs) if required to do so by law, legal process, or requests from public authorities, or where disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, investigate fraud, or protect our operations or users. Because we do not log your browsing activity or traffic content, we are unable to disclose such data even if requested.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, personal data may be transferred to the relevant successor entity, which will remain bound by this Privacy Statement.

International Data Transfers and EEA Residents

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data only where we have a legal basis under Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"): performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests as described above, your consent where required, or compliance with a legal obligation. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data Security, Integrity, and Retention

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to safeguard your data, including encryption of traffic between your device and our servers. We retain account data for as long as your account is active and delete it after account deletion. IP addresses and connection logs are automatically deleted after 30 days. Aggregate traffic statistics that no longer identify you may be retained for capacity planning.

Children

The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction. If we learn that we have collected the personal data of a child under that age, we will delete it as soon as possible. Please contact us immediately if you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its further processing, and to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent data protection authority. To protect your data, we may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You can exercise these rights by contacting us; we will respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account and associated data directly within the app via Profile > Delete account.

Third-Party Websites and Services

Our websites, products, and services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and this Privacy Statement applies solely to data collected by us. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third party before using their websites, products, or services.

Changes to this Privacy Statement

We may periodically update this Privacy Statement. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and, for material changes, notify you within the app. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Statement.
